A wonderful adventure to Ganesh Himal Base Camp trekking with Nepal Guide Treks & Expeditions leading towards the mid West-Central Himalaya at Ganesh Himal base camp through the Tamang, Ghale, Magar, Bhotias traditional villages where the locals rarely see westerners and other trekkers passing by this off the beaten path, Ganesh Himal And its massif situated on the north west of Kathmandu in the Central Himalayan Region at approx 70 k.m aeronautical miles covering high hills and snow capped peaks, this fabulous mountainous terrain adjacent to Nepal-Tibet (China) border, Ganesh Himal at 7, 405 meters stands proudly with its massif bulk touches the Manaslu range towards west and Langtang in the eastern side.

Nepal Guide Treks & Expeditions cultural and scenic trekking to Ganesh Himal starts with a scenic interesting drive at Samari Bhanjyang at1, 250m. via Trishuli Bazaar 540m, a semi tropic warm area, from here the adventure follows the high mid hills with several small passes with striking panoramic views of staggering peaks of the surrounding Himalayan chain of mountains, journey leads towards further west at Ganesh Himal base camp, approx 4,750 m (a proposed sites for zinc mining) Ganesh Himal with its other magnificent smaller peaks Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IVincluding Paldor one of the mass of the Ganesh Himal, the brown hills of Tibet.

Trip Outline

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Samari Bhanjyang(1250m.) via Trishuli Bazaar (540m.) by bus.

Day 04: Trek from Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar (765m.) which takes about six and half hours.

Day 05: Trek from Katunje Bazaar to Kintang Phedi (655m.) and it takes about five and half hours.

Day 06: Trek from Kintang Phedi to Jharlang (1500m.) and it takes about six hours.

Day 07: Trek from Jharlang to Chalise (2000m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 08: Trek from Chalise to Hindung which takes about five hours.

Day 09: Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka and it takes about five and half hours.

Day 10: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake) Ganesh Himal Base Camp which takes about six hours.

Day 11: Rest day at the Base Camp. You can have an excursion in and around Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake).

Day 12: Trek from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka and it takes about six hours.

Day 13: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2000m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 14: Trek from Chalise to Laba Besi (1500m.) and it takes about six hours.

Day 15: Trek from Laba Besi to Manyang Bhanjyang (2934m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 16: Trek from Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun (2200m.) and which takes approximately six hours.

Day 17: Trek from Majhgaun to Budathum and it takes about five hours.

Day 18: Trek from Budathum to Arughat Bazaar (500m.) which takes about two hours.

Day 19: Drive to airport for flying your own destination
